The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) successfully conducted a one-day workshop titled “Export Procedures and Documentation,” led by an experienced resource person, Mr. T. Raviendrarajah, a former Director of Customs.
The workshop was designed to educate and equip Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with the knowledge required to strengthen their presence in the export market. Key areas covered included an introduction to exports, export procedures and documentation, export-related challenges and mitigation strategies, essential concepts in international business, the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, and anticipated trade challenges in the near future.
Participants remained actively engaged throughout the session, contributing to discussions and interactive segments, making the programme both informative and impactful.
